PUR2o Coronavirus Safety Statement

As some states open, and some states are pausing or rolling back their opening plans, the world is full of uncertainty. In NY, NJ & CT, we are back in business and ready to take care of your needs, please be reassured we are keeping to our strict safety measures and your health and safety is our top priority.

In Florida and Texas, our teams are being extremely cautious and are operating based on the local and state guidelines, as well as adhering to our safety protocols as outlined below.

We know that accessibility to clean water can be just as much of an issue as the current pandemic, and we want you to know that we are here for you.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued its Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce, and has provided further details on identifying essential critical infrastructure workers during the COVID-19 crisis. 

 

Broadly, DHS has included as "essential" all the roles workers in the water treatment industry play in delivering clean, safe water.

 

~  Manufacturing through the entire chain of distribution to delivery and installation will be operational.

~  Technical professionals, service providers, product installers, repair and parts replacement workers and supporting operations workers will continue working.

As such, PUR2o will remain open and because we care about protecting your health as well as our PUR2o employees and their families, we have established some basic but also what we believe to be effective safety measures allowing us to continue serving you while remaining responsible and operational during this health emergency. 

We appreciate your support and cooperation in our safety measures, as well as any adjustments that may need to be made based on local, state, and federal guidelines.

Our Protocol:

1- We will not send to your home any employee who has, or has had, any cold and flu symptoms recently, or if we suspect them to have had contact with anyone with the same type symptoms. 

 

2 - Please advise us if you or a member of your household is under a self imposed quarantine or a mandated quarantine, or if anyone is a health care worker.

3- When an appointment is set up , please advise if anyone in your household has any cold or flu type symptoms, or has been in contact with anyone who may be infected or sick.

 

4- Our PUR2o employees will be instructed to wash their hands upon arrival into your home or use hand sanitizer, and repeat after finishing the maintenance or sales consulting job. 

5 - If the visit is for a new installation, they will also be required to wear sterile gloves since they will be in the household for a longer period of time, therefore touching more surfaces and objects during their visit.
